Tiara M. Jones is a licensed cosmetologist, hair/wig designer, makeup artist and fashion designer from a from Alexandria, Virginia. Her professional work has been seen at The Santa Fe Opera, The Carnegie, The Glimmerglass Opera Festival, The Cincinnati Opera, Ensemble Theater Cincinnati, New York Fashion Week, as well as the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she obtained her MFA degree in Make-up and Wig Design. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in apparel design with a minor in architectural studies from UC’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). Her recent design work includes: The Color Purple, Ensemble Cincinnait's JaJa's African Hair Braiding, Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, She Loves Me, Sunday in the Park with George, Fellow Travelers, Once on This Island and much more. Tiara now resides New York City and continues to design in the world of Theater, Opera, Film the Television Industry and her everyday clients for Events (Weddings, Photoshoots and Red Carpeted Events). Tiara is also the 2024 United States Institute of Theater Technology National Makeup Design Winner sponsored by Kryolan Professional Make-up, and was a 2024 finalist for the IATSE Local 798 Hairstylist training in New York City.  She Plans to reach her goals, continue to network and strive to create in the City of Dreams.
